Encountering Encounters: The Anniversary Book
Encountering Encounters is a book that celebrates our 10th anniversary. It describes the first decade of our community art project embedded in the exciting, quirky and arty city of Brighton & Hove. In 68-pages, the book tells the story of how Encounters has evolved and learnt how to make a contribution to the community. To buy your copy of the book go to the ‘get in touch’ page.

Our 2021 Artists
Unmissable Khaled paintings in dialogue with Skinner‘s photograph. Bagguley‘s paintings align with Zattarin‘s work in a dialogue of compassion. A vibrant hope installation by Parejo and Anon is in tune with Lieberman‘s Extended Ocean work.
For the first time we will have a digital art room in which exciting artists share new opportunities created by the 4th industrial revolution.
Many pieces from the artists featured in Encounters’ shows are available for sale.
Don’t miss the arti-shop when you visit and, throughout the year, the Arti-Shop can be seen by appointment. Go to the ‘get in touch’ page to arrange your appointment.
