Encountering Encounters is a book that celebrates the first decade of our community art project embedded in the exciting, quirky and arty city of Brighton & Hove.
This beautifully produced 68-page book tells the story of how Encounters evolved and learnt how to make a contribution to our community.

Our May 2022 Show
Encounters offers an inspirational experience for visitors who can enjoy the work of international and local artists whose work is strikingly distinctive, bold and progressive. Most of the pieces on display have not been shown previously in Europe.
Encounters last show for the summer festival is on the 28/29 May.
One the 28th and 29th there will be Face Painting for Children from 2:30 – 6pm and Art Lessons from 4 to 5pm each day

Ned Hoskins, whose inspiration inspired a movement, provides imagery to encounter life boldly.
